My name is
Kyle Lim, and I'm a
Computer Science student at
University of Maryland - College Park. I have a passion for software development to a point where I go
beyond my classes and
explore the latest and greatest technologies. An interesting fact about me is that my first language was actually
FORTRAN which I used to perform
efficient computations on a image dataset in highschool. Since
then I've
progressed to more modern,
powerful languages such as
Python, JavaScript, and
Java. My most recent works have been in the
Web Development realm with my specialties consisting
of
Node, Express, and
Socket.IO. I am currently looking to
dive into the field and pick up today's hot technologies including
React, Vue, MongoDB, and
Go. My
Drive comes from building practical software that people, including myself will use! My most recent project,
Vynchronize, was
trending and attracted over
10,000 users in a couple days!
Outside of programming I enjoy taking a scenic hike, wasting money on boba, or rewatching an episode of Friends.
